Why You Need Water Early in the Morning

Water is one of the best gifts of nature. Everything that has breath needs water and in the right quantity and quality. Sometimes, we say that the only liquid that has no overdose measures is water. Trust me, you have never heard or rarely been told someone is sick because of drinking too much water. What you would hear at best is that such a person is I'll due to lack of water.
Having said these, what is the best thing to drink on an empty stomach every morning?

It’s important how we start our day. During the night while you are sleeping, you become dehydrated. You not been drinking anything for hours and your body needs to be re-hydrated. Also, your body has been working hard in repair mode and the digestive system hopefully has had a rest. We have done a mini fast since our last evening meal. In the morning we are breaking-the-fast. I attended a health seminar in my church the early part of last year when drinking water on an empty water early in the morning pricked my conscience. Ever since then, I have learned what to do first thing in the morning. It is good for the body to drink a cup of warm or hot water first thing without anything in it. It is the best way to break-the-fast from the night and cleanse the body. Drink warm or hot water as it is gentler on the empty stomach. It is important that the water has nothing in it so that is passes through right away. If it contains anything at all, it will stay in your stomach up to one hour so that does not work well.

Why and What happens when we drink water first in the morning?

One the common uses of water is to cleanse. We use water to wash our dishes and clothes to make them clean. In the same way, water cleanses,  and flushes out all in your digestive system and kidney and bladder.
Usually a bowel movement will follow soon after the second cup of water.

Warm Water and Lemon Juice
Drinking lemon water in morning on an empty stomach will help in flushing out of toxins. Warm water with lemon helps digestion as lemon contains citric acid. It interacts with other enzymes and acids which easily stimulate the secretion of gastric juice and digestion.
Now, those of you who take alcohol will need to here this.
As soon as alcohol is consumed, the body starts to break it down, but some is always absorbed directly into the bloodstream. And once alcohol is in your blood, neither coffee nor a cold shower will get it out any faster. So what dies the magic? Simply, drinking a mixture of lemon juice and warm water on an empty stomach. This helps digestion and flushes out the alcohol. Remember, the biggest lemon water benefit may be from the temperature of the water and not even the added lemon. So endeavour to warm the water.

Finally, drinking any water, or especially warm water, first thing in the morning can help flush the digestive system and rehydrate the body. Water fires up your metabolism, hydrates you, helps your body flush out toxins, gives your brain fuel, and may even make you eat less.

Drinking a cold glass of water before bed promotes sleep, which is just one of the many water health benefits. Yes, when I started practising drinking enough water, I slept fine better than ever, ate less and look smarter.
So, go get that cup of water and feel the breath of nature's healing.
